EBlock Brings Montreal onto its National Marketplace with LiveLanes Launch
Canada NewsWire
MONTREAL, Nov. 3, 2026
Every vehicle sold in the lanes at EBlock Montreal now available through LiveLanes on a unified omnichannel marketplace, connecting Canadian buyers and sellers online and in-lane.
MONTREAL, Nov. 3, 2026 /CNW/ — E Automotive Inc. (“EINC” or the “Company”) announced today that its subsidiary, EBlock Inc. (“EBlock”), has launched LiveLanes in Quebec, uniting EBlock’s Montreal location with the unified digital marketplace that serves over ten thousand marketplace participants across Canada. Previously, inventory in Montreal sold separately through a third party simulcast system. Starting Nov. 3, 2026, LiveLanes will replace the third party software, and vehicles will now be listed directly in EBlock’s LiveLanes. LiveLanes, a proprietary EBlock technology, brings in-lane and digital auction environments together into one unified event. By integrating in-person bidding with online sales, this solution connects vehicle inventory in Quebec to buyers throughout Canada and U.S. exporters, all while preserving smooth local auction lane operations for on-site participants.
LiveLanes exemplifies EBlock’s land-meets-tech approach, turning Montreal’s auction facility into an Omnichannel Experience Centre. These digitally-powered facilities provide new ways for dealers to access land, logistics, and special auction events online and in-lane using LiveLanes Technology. While local inspections and logistics remain rooted in Montreal, LiveLanes combines physical and digital inventory in a single auction event. Every vehicle sold in the lanes at EBlock Montreal is now listed on the EBlock marketplace, expanding reach for local sellers and boosting inventory for buyers without moving vehicles between platforms.
One Platform for Montreal
Historically, dealers on our marketplaces in Quebec navigated fragmented platforms and isolated sales channels to buy or sell online versus in-lane. By consolidating Montreal inventory into the EBlock marketplace, EBlock brings all of its Montreal buyers and sellers onto the EBlock marketplace. Consignors gain access to a broader bidder base, while buyers access more regional vehicles weekly within the EBlock marketplace.
For dealership groups and commercial consignors with volume in Quebec, that can mean faster inventory turn, less vehicle movement and one platform to manage remarketing across every site. Bringing auction lanes and digital sales onto one platform also unifies titling and payments: the titles team can easily provide titles for vehicles bought at Montreal or in digital sales, while payments and disbursements are streamlined through a single system regardless of where vehicles are purchased or sold.
Land Meets Tech
“Land and logistics still matter for dealers. That’s where cars get inspected, stored and moved. What dealers don’t need is a separate sale for every site,” said Lisa Scott, President of EBlock. “With LiveLanes, Montreal runs on the same platform as the rest of our marketplace. That’s what we mean by land meets tech: we keep the ground operations local and put every car in one market while attracting buyers from across Canada. This also simplifies the buying experience for our customers and meets our customers where and how they want to do business.”
EBlock powers a dynamic, end-to-end marketplace – driving real-time digital sales, appraisals, and logistics across eleven high-capacity logistics centers in Canada. Dealers participate in LiveLanes along with multiple EBlock auction channels within one marketplace, on any device.
“In the past, Quebec dealers had to manage separate logins and split their focus between in-person bidding in Montreal and external simulcast platforms,” said Mathieu Boisvert, General Manager, EBlock Montreal. “Now, EBlock unifies that experience. Buyers can attend the live lanes in Montreal while simultaneously participating in digital auctions across Canada right from their mobile devices. A consigned vehicle now gains national exposure giving our local sellers broader market reach and buyers across Canada access to more inventory.”
