Twin Falls Waterfall
Waterfalls highlighted in the guide within reach of Clemson include:
• Waldrop Stone Falls – a 30-foot waterfall inside the Clemson Experimental Forest, reached via an easy-to-moderate one-mile loop trail suitable for families and dogs.
• Issaqueena Falls – near Walhalla, reachable via a short 300-foot walk from the parking area, making it accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
• Yellow Branch Falls – a uniquely tiered waterfall in Walhalla, reached via a 1.5-mile trail rated easy to moderate.
• King Creek Falls and Spoonauger Falls – a pair of waterfalls near the Burrell’s Ford Campground in Sumter National Forest that can be visited together in a single hike.
• Twin Falls (Eastatoe Falls) – located on South Carolina DNR property, with a 0.6-mile trail rated easy to moderate and suitable for dogs or young children.
Lake Hartwell Country reports that the region draws millions of visitors annually, with outdoor recreation, including waterfall hikes, among the top reasons travelers cite for visiting. The organization said fall is one of the busiest periods for waterfall hikes in the area, as cooler temperatures and changing leaves draw both day-trippers and overnight visitors to the trails.
